At SHD, this year's Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, has the theme “Danke an die Lehrenden! – The one who lights up the German dream” marked by a series of meaningful activities, both rich in humanistic spirit and bearing the dynamic colors of the young generation. This is not only an opportunity to express gratitude to the teachers and the team of lecturers and staff, but also an opportunity for SHD students to practice comprehensively, from physical fitness, skills to the spirit of international integration.
The SHD 2025 Sports Festival will last for more than a week from November 8 to November 16, 2025, held at the Le Thi Rieng dormitory volleyball court and the Bac Rach Chiec football field, Phuoc Long ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
The Sports Festival is SHD's biggest sports event of the year with three competitions: men's football, men's volleyball and a series of games, attracting more than 250 athletes to participate. Not only are there intense matches or energetic ball smashes, Sportfest 2025 also creates a strong spirit of connection between student classes.

The game was extremely dramatic and exciting.
On November 9, the SHD field was "heated up" with fiery smashes, spectacular saves and a fearless fighting spirit from the men's volleyball teams.
Each set was a breathless chase for the score, each play was a “highlight” that made the audience restless. Even though it was a friendly match, the fighting spirit of the teams was still as “hot” as in a professional tournament.

SHD 2025 Sports Festival ended with extremely dramatic football matches
In each coordination and each goal, the young people learn how to work in a team, how to communicate, how to lead and how to be united. These are important skills that help students become more confident when entering the international learning and working environment in Germany. The sports festival thus becomes a memorable mark, where the energy of youth is fully spread.
In the loving atmosphere of November 20, the SHD Wall Newspaper contest is not only a creative playground, but also a place for each student to send their most sincere thanks to the Teachers - those who have lit up their journey to conquer German.

Each page of the wall newspaper is a beautiful story: neat handwriting tells about the first lessons, bright colors recreate classroom memories, each line of German is written with effort - all combine to form a meaningful spiritual gift that the classes give to their teachers.
After the scoring and voting period, the following groups shone with their dedicated works:
Exhibition Awards – Binh Thanh Campus
Exhibition Award – Thu Duc Facility
Online Voting Award

The special feature of this year’s competition is the requirement to present in Vietnamese and German. This helps students practice their language skills and express the beauty of the culture of “respecting teachers” in a mature, modern and very unique way of SHD. Through colors, words and creativity, the classes together recreated memorable memories on the journey to reach the German dream.

On the main holiday, students gave their teachers simple but emotional gifts, handwritten cards, small bouquets of flowers and sincere wishes.
The atmosphere at SHD’s campuses became warmer than ever as teachers and students took memorable photos together. Those were beautiful smiles, grateful eyes and indescribable bonds – all creating an emotional picture of the gratitude day.

The series of activities on November 20 at SHD not only honors educators, but also aims at the goal of comprehensive development for students. From health, thinking, soft skills to cultural values, young people have the opportunity to experience and grow.
This is the foundation for SHD students to confidently step out into the world – solid in knowledge, strong in spirit and ready for the journey of vocational training and work in Germany.
